The cost of my desire, Sleep now in the Fire!

Well, the short story I promised is finished and posted. Hope it's permissible. Actually, the only reason I finished it this soon is because I heard about a Halloween story contest three days before the due date, and went on a writing binge to finish it on time (it got second place, for those who care to know). I had to cut it down because the word limit was 1500 words, and it was too long. I also forgot to save the extended version, so you'll have to settle for the second edition. I'm really pissed about that.

But anyway, I feel pretty good, and I'll probably post some stuff that's been rotting in a notebook. I might even write something new. But don't wait by the monitor too long for it.
